Harry Sherrard is the principal of Sherrards, and has been a specialist employment lawyer for some 16 years.
Described in Chambers 2008 as “straight-talking and extremely bright”, Harry Sherrard is respected and well regarded by clients and fellow professionals alike. Harry writes and lectures widely on employment law issues and has conducted numerous training programmes for clients throughout the UK. He has written a book “Human Resources Disputes and Resolutions”, published in July 2007 by Kogan Page, which is based on the highly successful Employment Headaches courses. In June 2007 he appeared on BBC 2’s Working Lunch television programme, in an interview about employment law. He has also spoken on BBC radio.
He is an advisor to the Shadow DBERR team at Westminster, and helps formulate its position on employment law policy.
Well known in the motor racing world, Harry was profiled by The Law Gazette in November 2006, which said that Harry was also “putting in a claim to be the fastest solicitor on two or four wheels”.
Harry also plays bass guitar in the Sherrards rock band.
